Longtime gay rights activist, Peter Tatchell, is the latest victim of a “McCarthyite smear campaign” by young UK progressives, who labelled him “racist” and “transphobic” because he signed a letter opposing no-platforming last year (instigated by the attempted no-platforming of Germaine Greer by Cambridge Union). Tatchell responds to these developments.
