A woman was reportedly punched in the face at a Brooklyn bistro after expressing opposition to Trump’s election victory.

Or maybe it was just sexism.

Gwen Ifill, a groundbreaking journalist — a vanguard as a black woman in a field dominated by white men — who covered the White House, Congress, and national campaigns for The Washington Post, The New York Times, NBC and PBS, died on Monday from complications related to uterine cancer. She was 61.
