What’s Current: Man charged with murder after stabbing 8-months-pregnant wife, prompting death of baby

Sofiane Ghazi has been charged with first degree murder after stabbing his wife, Raja Ghazi, who was eight months pregnant. Sofiane has a history of abuse, and was arrested and charged with assaulting his wife in June. The baby died after emergency C-section, and Raja remains in hospital.

Research shows that avoiding housework is good for your well being, but women have rarely had the option.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirms that the vast majority of murdered American women are killed by their husbands and boyfriends.

Clothing for women has historically never had pockets in order to restrict their freedom.

A feminist petition demanding a legal definition of the words “man” and “woman” from the UK government was banned from petition platform 38 degrees, deemed “inappropriate.”
