This is yet another case where I fantasize about forcible administration of magical, guaranteed-effective truth serum

I love that Derrick Jensen refers to the concerted effort to shut down his talk as the work of “the reactionary left of Eugene.”

I agree that the left (academics and pseudo anarchists) is using this corporate-backed trans movement as a campaign strategy to control “progressive” women, and to push its perpetual misogynist agenda.

And in this case, the left has the full support of liberals of every possible stripe. Which I’m sure is of much comfort to them, esp when it comes to shutting down public speech. (hypocrisy needs all the support it can get to sustain itself)

I watched the Derrick Jensen video about 2 days ago. As soon as I heard the boos and hisses, I knew the Trans Activists had landed. They nearly disrupted the entire lecture. They were so reprehensible that when Jensen talked about the rape and abuse of his mother, sister, and he, they made noises. Let me say this again? When Jensen spoke about how his father rape and abused the entire family, they disrespected him. Obviously, Jensen is very tolerant; because I would have thrown them out.

It’s all very telling, isn’t it? CPAC (Conservative Political Action Committee) just had their yearly conference. It received coverage from all of the major networks. They are certainly opposed to transgenderism. Funny, the Trans Activists didn’t show up to heckle them. There are organizations like the Family Research Council, Conservative Citizens Council, Council For National Policy–all highly racist, misogynistic, and homophobic organizations. They have speakers appearing on college campuses all of the time. Some on them are in the American government. Prominent conservative activists are appearing on platforms all across America. None of them supportive of the LGBT Community. Yet, they have never been subjected to this kind of rancor. That’s because the Trans Activists know better. They aren’t going to show up in male spaces and demand to be recognize as women, neither. Again, they know better. Instead, they have invaded the spaces of women. Unfortunately, women and their allies, like Jensen, the response to them is usually accommodating and sympathetic. This is a grave error.

Lastly, I urge you to listen to Jensen’s lecture around 151:27. It interesting what he concludes about pedophilia. The crowd reacts. It’s interesting to the end. At one point Jensen asked one of the Trans Activists to define a woman. They couldn’t. If you listen to the entire lecture from the beginning, the sound doesn’t kick in until about 12 minutes.
