Texas to implement rules requiring burial or cremation of fetal remains.

Australian man receives only six months in jail for raping a eight-year-old girl.

Morroccan State TV channel shows battered women how to use makeup to hide domestic abuse.

“‘After the beating, this part is still sensitive, so don’t press,’ the host said in Arabic as she applied makeup on the woman’s face, eventually concealing the woman’s bruises.

‘Make sure to use loose powder to fix the makeup so if you have to work throughout the day, the bruises don’t show,’ she said.”

New Survey: 27 per cent of European men say rape is acceptable in some circumstances (like if the woman is drunk or wearing “revealing” clothing). Findings show:

“The number is much higher in Eastern and Central European nations such as Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic. In Romania, more than 50 percent of all respondents said sexual intercourse without consent was acceptable in some circumstances. Although there was a clear divide between Eastern and Western Europe, geography alone does not explain the striking differences.

In Belgium, for instance, 40 per cent agreed that sexual intercourse without consent is justified in some circumstances, whereas only 15 percent said so in neighboring Netherlands.”
