- Global outcry led to Rahaf Mohammed Alqunun’s deportation being delayed. The 18-year-old Saudi woman had slipped away from her family and was set to be deported back to the kingdom from Thailand, when she posted a video of her request for asylum from abuse at the hands of her family. She has left the airport and is under the care of UN officials who will work to seek a country that will accept her.
- Lily Adams, a porn performer, took to Twitter on Sunday to accuse a porn director who goes by the name Stills By Alan of sexually assaulting her during what she had assumed would be an initial business meeting.
- A French commission on victim compensation has ruled that a woman made paraplegic when her boyfriend threw her out of a window was “partly responsible” for her condition, because she had returned home that night after he’d been violent towards someone else.
- A Colorado man and his 12-year-old son are facing first degree murder charges after both allegedly participated in the shooting of 41-year-old Amy Garcia. The man is reported by witnesses to have told his son that he “earned his man card” by allegedly assisting in her murder.
