  • Response to the Socialist Resistance website and its double-barreled commissioned response to the excellent Victoria Smith essay:
“I am surprised that Socialist Resistance would commission right off a “critical reply” to what seems to me a well-balanced, thorough and objective article by Smith. Socialist Resistance goes as far as to already announce what will no doubt be yet another antofeminist broadside from some self-appointed trans “spokesperson”. What I wonder is: what is in the current attack on feminists for socialism and/or men? A long history of *resistance* is probably part of the answer.
Also, a minor point. One has to read through the whole article to get to an explanation of the antifeminist poster chosen to illustrate it: “…A recent poster campaign asking feminists to be “more inclusive” showed a trans person trying to decide which toilets to use…” I felt that this editorial choice derailed the message of the article, suggesting that this picture reflected its tonus.”

I’m glad the Socialist Resistance is willing to have a discussion on trans genderism. It’s about time. I wonder when we will see a tipping point in the population’s support of trans genderism. Maybe when they start realizing that transitioning is a sexual fetish for many menm just as cross-dressing?

  • I enjoyed the article hopefully it won’t be called abusive as always, I never thought that grown adults would be debating the existence of biological sex.. I mean how silly is to think that someone can just be a woman? As if it is a state of mind..without even going into a feminist analysis?. The whole notion would be.funny.if it.wasn’t so.scary

    • Unfortunately, the response article dismissed it as “trans hate,” without engaging in any points it made.
