What’s Current: #HappyToBleed protest against tampon ‘luxury item’ tax turns Zurich fountains blood red

Activists in Zurich dyed 13 fountains blood red as part of the #happytobleed action protesting the high rate of tax that is placed on tampons.

The fight continues: Poland ruling party attempts to revive ban on abortion. Polish politician Jaroslaw Kaczynski says:

“We will strive to ensure that even in pregnancies when a child is sure to die, strongly deformed, women end up giving birth so that the child can be baptized, buried, and have a name.”
