    “…who should get raped.”
Gee, that doesn’t sound like misogynist rhetoric to threaten women into silence at all.
These “progressive trans activists” are no different from the reactionary MRA types who want women to be meek, submissive fuck dolls.

Male student who threatened female academic Professor Rosa Freedman with male sexual violence is just another mundane women-hating male. Males from the right and left of politics continue to be contemptuous of women and demand we women constantly genuflect to their women-hating claims. Mens’ myth of trans is just mens’ illogic in their demand to maintain male power over all women and girls.

The Atlantic report is chilling (though I always knew that men would coerce or blackmail women into doing doing the things that they claim women do on their own). Hats off to those two women who despite being stalked so closely (the dude knew exactly how much credit card debt a woman had, among other things), were brave enough to let the journalists know what’s happening, all the while knowing that the dude is most probably watching her every move. One of the women is so scared she is going by a pseudonym, and is refusing to give phone interviews. Poor thing… I hope she gets all the protection she deserves. But she was still brave to blow the whistle on this.
Also, it confirms what we all know: women don’t file “false allegations” – that is a projection by men. If anyone is “misusing” the rape/sexual assault laws, it is the men themselves. There is nothing they seem to spare without twisting/abusing it to profit from it.

Women are slowly realizing just how much hatred males have towards them what this male child did, a student with the privilege of attending such and institution, then to completely disrespect an elder, a woman a educational teacher with such venomous repulsive anti social behaviour is an example of where society is at this time in history. Young males feel the freedom to be as putrid and anti social as they can be. What will be his consequences? Will he be suitably punished for his Vile attack, Nothing short of expulsion, and banned from all other universities world wide.
Society and Institutions need to draw a line in the sand. This is Reprehensible, and he and his behaviour needs to be made an example of because this has gone on far too long and it has to be seen to be stopped by way of not allowing it happen again without the strongest repercussions.Fines of thousands of dollars, black listed, expulsion complete ban from all universities.
Nothing short of severe repercussions will be satisfactory.

“Last Tuesday, a male student shouted at Prof. Rosa Freedman outside of Reading University, calling her a “transphobic Nazi who should get raped.””

Hasn’t the narrative always been that certain women (and children) deserve abuse and even death? The cool girls don’t deserve abuse because they are so complicit. But given a slight change in circumstance and they might also be targets. The position of sex-positive women is that it is not OK to sexually assault someone because of what she wears, or if she is alone late at night, or if she is inebriated, or if she was somewhere she shouldn’t be but it is OK to physically and/or sexually assault someone because of what they think or write or say? What the women who are targeted for ‘hate’ say doesn’t have to be hate speech for them to be consigned to a beating or death. Unless your thinking is incredibly screwed up (specifically the thinking of privileged and delusional men) what female academics, public intellectuals, journalists, workers, moms, etc. are saying about the ability of men to become women, is not hate. Now virtually any (anonymous) man can pass judgement on any woman and say that she deserves doxxing and death. I have always thought that the domestic sphere was the proving ground for violent men (where they are allowed to hone their skills in abusing others) and that the public sphere was where they actually wanted to express their violence (but many don’t out of fear of legal and other consequences but even then the fear doesn’t seem that great). I remember reading the scene in Jane Smiley’s “A Thousand Acres” in which the middle sister who is fighting with her husband is seen to deserve his assault (he breaks her arm) because as the elder sister says, the middle sister ‘provoked’ her husband. That still seems to be the thinking of a lot of men and sadly a good number of women.
