What’s Current: Declaration on Women’s Sex-based Rights launches on Friday

The Declaration on Women’s Sex-Based Rights, arguing that gender identity legislation trumps women’s sex-based rights, launches afterwards, at 7PM.
  • The Lesbian Rights Alliance Aotearoa has been banned from the “Out in The Park” Pride event in Wellington, NZ for not being “inclusive” enough.
  • High-profile K-pop stars participated in a group chat where sex videos of women filmed without their consent were shared.
  • Saudi women’s rights activists appeared in a closed-door hearing for the first time since being detained in May. NPR reports the women were charged and haven’t been given access to a lawyer.
