What’s Current: UK women push back against calls to expel Labour party members critical of gender identity ideology under #ExpelMe

UK Labour leader contender Rebecca Long-Bailey tweeted support for a pledge to expel Labour party members for their views on gender self-identification, prompting an outpouring of responses on Twitter under trending hashtag #ExpelMe.

  • Rose Kalemba revealed that Pornhub hosted a video taken of her rape when she was 14-years-old, and described her difficulty in getting the platform to remove the content. When asked why videos with titles similar to those uploaded featuring her rape, such as “teen abused while sleeping,” are still active, Pornhub told the BBC:

“We allow all forms of sexual expression that follow our Terms of Use, and while some people may find these fantasies inappropriate, they do appeal to many people around the world and are protected by various freedom of speech laws.”

A petition to hold Pornhub responsible was created in response.
