  • Jessica Yaniv, a trans activist notorious for taking 16 primarily immigrant women to the Human Rights tribunal after they refused to wax Yaniv’s male genitalia, is now accusing a journalist who covered Yaniv’s court hearing of sexual assault.
  • Domestic violence services in the United States are bracing for an increase in tensions and abuse as people are being asked to stay home due to the COVID-19 outbreak. There are reports indicating that this has already been happening in China, as some cities in that country have been on lockdown for several weeks.
  • Brazilians were outraged to discover that a trans-identified male prisoner who’d been featured sympathetically on a national reality TV show was serving time for the rape and murder of a small child. Rafael Tadeu de Oliveira dos Santos, now known as Suzy de Oliveira, had reportedly raped several children before the murder of his last victim.
  • An American man from Texas has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for trafficking Ecuadorian girls for sex, in conjunction with four Ecuadorian co-defendants who helped recruit 13-16 year old girls from schools in Quito.
