  • Emily Ratajkowski has accused photographer Jonathan Leder of sexually assaulting her during a photo shoot at his Catskills home in 2012. Leder later turned the polaroids he took of her into a book, without Ratajkowski’s consent.
  • Two women in the UK lost their appeal to the government regarding the rise in age for eligibility to receive pension. A recent decision to increase the age from 60 to 66, to match men’s, was contested by women who argued they had spent their lives in low-paying and unpaid labor.
  • Stillbirths are on the rise in India as facilities that once catered to pregnant women have been converted into centers for Covid-19.
  • The largest study to date confirmed findings of previous studies showing a correlation between gender dysphoria and autism. According to research conducted with a sample size of over half a million, those who expressed discomfort with their birth sex were three to six times as likely to be autistic.
  • Migrant domestic workers from Nigeria, the majority women, are being enslaved in Lebanon as a result of the kafala system, wherein their legal status is bound to their employer.
