  • Argentina’s lower house has taken a historic step towards decriminalizing abortions up to 14 weeks of pregnancy, passing a bill sponsored by the president, Alberto Fernández. If the bill passes the senate at the end of the month, Argentina will be the fourth Latin American country that permits women to terminate a pregnancy.
