What’s Current: Leaked documents from Biden administration reveal plans to house trans inmates based on ‘gender identity’

  • The U.S. Biden Administration has prepared a draft executive order which will force all of the nation’s federal prisons and detention centers to allow any incarcerated male convict to transfer into a women’s prison on the basis of a self-declared gender identity, according to documents leaked to The Federalist.
  • Data recently obtained from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons reveals that nearly 50 per cent of trans-identified male inmates are in custody for sex offenses, compared to just 11 per cent of the general male population.
  • A proposed bill would provide more than $1 billion in funding to address the racial disparity in U.S. maternal mortality. The U.S. has the highest maternal mortality rate for a developed country and Black women are at least three times more likely to die from a pregnancy-related cause than White women, according to the CDC.
  • Israel will allow all citizens to purchase infants through the surrogacy industry beginning from January 11, including single fathers, same-sex couples, and trans-identifying individuals.
