What’s Current: Trans-identified male who impregnated 2 inmates removed from Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women

  • Demi Minor, 27, was transferred to Garden State Youth Correctional Facility, a prison for young adult offenders in Burlington County, last month, after impregnating two female inmates. Minor is serving a 30-year sentence for manslaughter and is eligible for parole in 2037.
  • Feminist Christina Ellingsen tells Tucker Carlson she is facing a three year prison sentence for saying men cannot be women, girls, or mothers. Donate to WDI Norway’s Legal Fund here.
  • Twenty women have launched a lawsuit against the Clark County, Indiana Sheriff and multiple Correctional Officers at the Clark County Jail. According to a lawsuit filed on June 21, Correctional Officer Davie Lowe sold access to their section of the jail to two male inmates for $1,000. Reduxx reports that “During a horrific ordeal which lasted ‘multiple hours,’ the women were abused by several male inmates who had been allowed in by the two who had bought the keys.”
