  • And there’s even a march in Antarctica. Wow.

I’ve had a lot of loss and tragedy in my life and some very dark days, but somehow yesterday may have been the darkest. I never thought I had faith in this country until the moment it left:
    12:00PM EST January 20, 2017.

I may have to give up, y’all… I have no friends, no family, nobody… I am being harassed for not kowtowing to men in dresses. I am too tired to do this anymore…. I think I have to go. I don’t know what else I can do. I cannot tell the truth, so there is no point.

    • Mar Iguana

I don’t like the sound of this. I’m concerned for you and I’m so sorry you’re going through this darkness right now.

    • Liz

I’m sorry you’re being harassed. I look forward to reading your comments here, but there’s nothing wrong with taking a break. I hope you’re only talking about taking a break from the online world.

    • calabasa

I don’t like the sound of this either. I understand the need to rest and regroup and get away from negativity for a while. I hope that’s what you mean. Seek out the positive influences in your life. Go for a walk in nature with someone you like. Please reach out for help to the good who are around you. We need you in this world, so come back to us when you are ready.

If you’re being harassed by men then you know you are doing something right! You have us, Yisheng! Do not give up.

    • Wren

But I completely understand. I have no family and only one friend in the physical world and even she looks at me funny for some of the things I say.

Please do what you have to do to take care of yourself! Enjoy the beautiful things in the world, cause they exist. I know this despair, and I fight it everyday as well. But you can say you will give up but you can’t because you’ve seen too much and know too much and you’re needed too much. Despite this, you still must take care of yourself. Living and living well is an act of rebellion.

Please never give up Yisheng! My thoughts are with you.

    • Tired feminist

Omg I came late to this. Yisheng, I hope you’re alright! Solidarity!

    • Mar Iguana

OK. It’s been five days and no word from you, Yisheng Qingwa. I choose to think you have just taken Liz’s advice and taken a break from the online world.

For what it’s worth, you are in my thoughts.

“The recruitment of women to prostitution is taking place through a collaboration between our neoliberal government; pimps and the global sex trade lobby, and male sexual liberals in academia.”

There it is, in one astonishing sentence. The exploiters, pimps, johns and madams, have infected LGBT and liberal “feminist” culture with their toxic ideology, using the Trojan horse of “sex positivity.” They truly have the game sewn up, it’s an exercise in mass-gaslighting of girls and women. There is nothing “Queer” or romantic or edgy about sexual exploitation, and the betrayal of women by the Left and LGBT activists like Bennachie is an ongoing horror. So, soooo thankful for the existence of Feminist Current and the possibility of female insurgency against this madness.
