What’s Current: Three women die every day in the Philippines due to unsafe abortions

Herbs, medicine, painful “massage,” and other more barbaric methods of ending pregnancy cause three women to die every day from post-abortion complications in the Philippines, where abortion is banned.

Blac Chyna has been granted a restraining order against the father of her child, Rob Kardashian, in light of domestic abuse allegations and after he posted nude photos of Chyna on social media.

A 43-year-old Toronto teacher who sexually abused two of his former students still cannot be named because of a rare publication ban.

Twenty years after its release, Cheryl Dunye’s film, The Watermelon Woman, about the black lesbian experience, is as revealing as ever.

Technological development is undermining women’s equality.

In GMA’s interview with Blac Chyna…the interviewer said something like “Where do you draw the line..I mean you do post semi-nude pictures of yourself on the internet”…

A lot of the talk online has been about how she used to be a stripper/pose for men’s magazines…therefore she has no reason to be upset with Rob for posting her pictures… + that she is a gold digger so this is fair or right.

It seems as though no matter what women do, there is always some reason that we deserve to be violated sexually..rape, coercion, sexual assault, harassment, publication of privately sent photos…etc…

If you are angry at your female partner or your female ex, posting private/sexual pictures that she sent to you publicly is not an appropriate response.
