  • Kanye West debuted a new song and line of adult film-themed sweatshirts at the PornHub awards, which he produced.
  • Anthony Robert Harvey has been charged with killing his three daughters, his wife, and his mother in-law in the family home in Perth. This is the third case in the last four months where a male family member has been charged with a mass, domestic murder in Western Australia. The victims in this case were: Mara Lee Harvey, 41; Charlotte Kate Harvey, 3; Alice Ester and Beatrix, Mae Harvey, both 2; and Beverley Ann Quinn, 73.
  • Andrew Nolch, the blogger who defacedcomedian Eurydice Dixon’s memorial with a 25-meter drawing of a penis, has been sentenced to 200 hours of community service and fined $19,500 by a Melbourne court. The memorial was set up in the park where Dixon was raped and murdered, Nolch defended his actions as a “statement for men’s rights”
  • Hannah Mouncey, a former professional men’s handball player, has given up trying to participate in the women’s division of the Australian Football League.
  • Female musicians in Brazil are moving to take back their places in the nation’s popular samba circles.
