  • Last week, the BC Human Rights Tribunal heard a complaint by a trans-identified male, known as JY due to a publication ban, against a Sikh woman who refused to provide him with genital waxing services at her residence.
  • A UK doctor has been fired for saying that he wouldn’t call a six-foot, bearded man, “she,” on request, as he doesn’t believe people can change sex.
  • A Tory councillor from Middlesbrough, UK, David Smith, has resigned following allegations that he’d been sexually abusing children. His previous political activity includes petitioning to end single-sex toilet facilities.
  • Sadie Roberts-Joseph, the 75-year-old founder of the Baton Rouge African American History Museum, was found dead in the trunk of a car last Friday night. Her death has been ruled a homicide, and police have requested the public’s help with their investigation.
