  • The Montana Senate Judiciary Committee passes Senate Bill 99, a proposal by Sen. John Fuller, R-Kalispell, to ban trans surgeries and hormone treatments for minors.
  • An Ontario high school student named Josh Alexander has been kicked out of his Catholic school after organizing a protest in support of the right of female students to have single-sex washrooms after two girls told him they were uncomfortable sharing spaces with trans-identified male students. The school argued that his presence would be “detrimental to the physical and mental well-being” of trans students.
  • Women employed at a male prison in Scotland say they were forced to strip-search one of the nation’s most dangerous male inmates on account of his identification as a “woman.” Tiffany Scott, 31, born Andrew Burns, was approved for a transfer to a women’s correctional facility despite his lengthy history of violence, though this move was blocked after SNP ministers intervened.
