  • Number of  women in Canadian federal prisons rose 37 per cent in 10 years. Savannah Gentile of the Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies tells the CBC:

“I have heard from a number of women that the first time they felt safe was the first night they spent in a prison cell… And I think that’s really an indictment on our communities if the first time a women is safe is when she is behind bars. It’s really speaking to a lack, a lack of resources that exist for women.”

EU Gender Equality League Table demonstrates that Britain has made exactly no progress in terms of addressing sex inequality in 10 years.

And they won’t make any progress in the future either, because now any man, who wants into a female-only space can do so, as long as he says: “I’m a woman!”. (take the female-only college at Cambridge, for example, who will now let men in as long as they “identify” as women! More progress…for female erasure!).

These male celebrities tripping over themselves to claim ignorance and worse, claim they would have done something “had they known” is utter bullshit.

Faux outrage is nauseating. Hoping it would “go away” on its own is cowardice. They could have made a stand a long time ago, together, as a concerted effort, but didn’t. Reminds me of how a blind eye was placed on rockers of the 60s who more or less raped young girls, their supposed “groupies”.

    Fuck them.

    Males are master manipulators.

As a group, they are all “oh, Weinstein is evil! Horrible! Awful!”

That is for our benefit. For them to be in our faces, screaming support.

But they are all “wink wink nudge nudge” with each other.

It is all part of the charade. Seeing their (fake, disingenuous) support is supposed to make us feel better, make us believe that males are fighting for us! More importantly, it keeps us from actually doing something about it ourselves by keeping a little bit of hope alive that maybe things will change.

It is how males keep everything exactly the same, while pretending to give a shit. It has always worked.
