  • Australian police strip search girls as young as 12, new data reveals. From 2016 to 2019 in New South Wales, 122 girls under the age of 18 were strip searched in places other than police stations.
  • The Matilda, an Australian women’s football team ranked eighth in the world, struck a historic deal for equal pay with their male counterparts.
  • The Spanish soccer federation will pay female players a full-time salary in order to avoid a strike that was scheduled to begin this month. Previously, female athletes were only allowed part-time contracts.
